Vintage 1969 Fender Super Reverb Amplifier
Pictured is one of my favorite amps of all time, with two of my favorite guitars. On the wall is a 100% original natural finish 75 Fender Jazz Bass. In hand is a 2000 (I like to call it the Millennium Edition) "90s" Thinline Telecaster. Both great axes, made even greater by a great amp. Tubes in this Fender Super Reverb Silverface Amp: 2 x 6L6GC power tubes, 1 x 5U4GB rectifier tube, 2 x 12AT7, 4 x 12AX7 (3 x 7025, 1 x 12AX7) - tubes are all factory RCA originals! 4-10" Special Design Fender speakers (FMI Alnicos, 064121). *NOTE* When I bought it, this amp was advertised as a 68, but one of the transformers has a 1969 serial number (the rest have 1968 serial numbers). Fender recommends adding 6 months to your part serial number dates to account for part shelf life prior to assembly. I agree! 1969 is a cool year, so I don't mind a bit.
