Crew of Confederate Gunboat CSS Chattahoochee Bruce says, "Here's a pic of the crew of the Confederate gunboat CSS Chattahoochee, all staff members of the Port Columbus National Civil War Naval Museum in Columbus, GA. Their uniforms are copies of ones made for Catesby Jones, Captain of the Chattahoochee. He purchased the jeanwool from the Army depot, and then contracted with a local firm to make the navy uniforms for his ill-outfitted crew."
